The dynamism between human rights law and development

For a long time it has been considered that human rights and development are either divergent or unrelated. In fact in many countries like Africa and eastern Europe human rights particularly civil and political rights were seen as impediments to development processes.

21st century is especial. the old development theorythat takes in to account only the material wealth is now considered an onld fashion. Just as evidence the iternational community has recognised and declared that development is about human person, that is the entire improvement of human life and condition of living. the international institutions development criteria has already changed in this regard.

what are the implications then? simply stated, it affects the way we approach to national and international law making that law should take in in to account whether human person's interest is served or not in the final outcome. As such human dignity is a corener stone of human rights protection and human rights values are playing significant role in the over all states activities.
